Description
The fourth issue of Polacosmic is dedicated to Berlin. For almost thirty years, the city has been divided by a concrete wall, and its sociopolitical effects are still visible in the German capital. In addition, there are various locations in Berlin where you can trace the remains of the Berlin Wall and the Cold War era.
I’ve been calling Berlin home for over a decade, and I often visit locations related to the Berlin Wall. I usually have a polaroid camera in my backpack, and whenever the light is adequate (not to be taken for granted in Germany), I shoot polaroids. Therefore, in this edition of Polacosmic, called “Divided Berlin reunited,” you’ll see iconic Berlin Wall locations like the East Side Gallery murals, but also lesser-known ones.
As always, on the final page of the zine, you’ll find a short index with the Berlin Wall locations and the polaroid cameras I used.
A few facts about the “Divided Berlin Reunited” zine

Here you’ll find specific details about the “Divided Berlin Reunited” zine.
- Together with the cover, this polaroid zine has twenty pages.
- It’s printed on high-quality saddle-stitched US letter paper: the covers are 300 gsm, while the inside pages are 150 gsm.
- Polacosmic #4 contains only color polaroids.
- All copies are hand-numbered; usually, each edition consists of 10 or 20 copies. Check the current edition at the bottom of this description.
- None of the polaroids presented in Polacosmic was altered. That said, there’s no post-processing. The only touch is a +20 in sharpness for printing optimization. Therefore, the colors, the grain, etc., remain intact. Polaroids should always look like polaroids.
- As I wrote earlier, international shipping costs are included in the price. I use standard shipping to keep down the costs.
- There’s a 7-day money-back guarantee; however, if you decide to return the issue(s), you’ll have to pay the shipping costs.
- Your Polacosmic issue(s) will dispatch within 48 hours. The zine(s) will be posted on Monday morning if you order a copy during the weekend. The day it ships, you’ll receive an e-mail confirming the dispatch.
- According to the post office, you should have the zines within 5-7 business days.
You can pay either via credit card or PayPal. LettersToBarbara uses an encrypted SSL protocol; therefore, your transactions are safe, and no one can see your card details.
I have tested everything carefully multiple times. If you run into an issue (like accidentally buying the same copy twice), just contact me. We will solve everything together within a couple of hours.
