Travel & Street Photography Recap III
In November, I kept traveling a lot. I felt somehow like a machine that had to pack a bag, head to the airport, write about places, head back home to wash clothes and leave again. But this was the life I’ve been daydreaming about for quite a while now. You see, all I ever wanted was to be permanently on the road. To travel as much as I could.
I was less thoughtful in the previous recaps (No 1 is here, and No 2 is here). I wanted to take as many photos as possible. But in November, I thought of slowing down a bit. It might be a phase, and maybe next month I’ll roam the streets like crazy again. But this month, there was a shift towards different sub-genres of photography, too.
After a short night in Tbilisi, I took a cab to the airport. I flew to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. In Yerevan, I honestly had some of the most wonderful days of the last three months. The Armenians are extremely friendly and, therefore, willing to share stories. Their stories motivated me to travel around this landlocked country. Thus, I visited a bunch of places, and that’s how the stories of Armenia were born.
I then returned for a couple of days in Athens, I washed my clothes, and I hit the road again. The next destination was a place that I never thought I’d visit. But don’t get me wrong: I always wanted to see Munich. But somehow, I always thought it would be too expensive. And indeed, Munich was expensive -but what a beautiful city, too! To be honest, it was an old but not forgotten passion that brought me here: football.
After a few days in Munich, I took the train to Salzburg. This city in Austria had an impact on me: I thought it would be sleepy, but the truth is that Salzburg felt extremely lively and beautiful beyond words. The Alps, the architecture, and of course, Mozart being everywhere.
Later on, I returned to Berlin, washed my clothes and…oh no, wait. This is something for the next recap, but I promise you’ll love it.
So, enjoy this one. All the photos you are about to see here are taken with the Ricoh GRii camera, which I reviewed here.
Travel & Street Photography Recap III, November 2018
Yerevan, Armenia
I loved this city. Even if I was there more than 45 days ago, I still can see the lively roads of Yerevan in front of me. So, if you have the chance to visit this elegant capital, don’t miss it.

All around Armenia
I traveled around Armenia, and I still feel impressed. The landscape is unique, and the hospitality outstanding. Honestly, this tour around Armenia is one of my 2018 highlights.

Munich, Germany
Munich has a stunning Old City. The area around the Marienplatz is one of a kind, and I took loads of photos there. So, here are just a few of them.

Salzburg, Austria
Salzburg feels compact, but it’s very lively. I had only 12 hours to explore the city, but I took loads of photos there, too. I will never forget the fresh wind coming from the Alps.
