5 things to do after publishing a blog post: an ebook
It’s only when you upload a new blog post that your article really starts its journey to the blogosphere. Even though creating high-quality content is always the goal, the truth is that it’s not always enough. Whenever you publish a new blog post, there are always a few more things to keep in mind. After all, you want your blog post to be read. But if people don’t read your posts, does it really make sense to keep creating content?
In this short e-book, I decided to share the five things I do after publishing a blog post. To make things clear, I don’t mean things you should do days or even weeks upon publication. I mean a sequence of things that you should always do straight after uploading a new blog post.
Why do I find these things essential?
Well, there are several reasons. As I wrote in the first paragraph, you want to ensure that your text will get an optimal position in the SERPs after you publish a blog post. This takes definitely time, but patience is a key element of blogging and blog posting optimization. Hard work must be rewarded, and blog posts that remain unnoticed will kill your motivation to carry on blogging. You don’t want that. Even if you blog for fun, you still want to have readers. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even consider starting a blog.
Moreover, you also want to ensure that your latest blog post will have a great journey to the blogosphere. Boosting its performance and ensuring that it won’t disappear after a couple of weeks is all that matters for a blog post. And to ensure a post’s longevity, you should take action straight after publishing a post.
A blog’s longevity and success go beyond digital marketing or any kind of content marketing. A blog post that remains relevant for a long time guarantees that your online business -be it a blog, an e-shop, or anything Internet-depended- is on the road to success.
What to expect from “5 things to do after publishing a blog post”

After following the blogging strategy described in the ebook for several years, I’m confident to say that it helped me a lot to grow my blog. As it’s pretty much the case with every other beginner blogger out there, I started from zero pageviews, but I managed to grow my blog rather fast.
In the beginning, I thought that after publishing a blog post, all I had to do was to share it on my Social Media channels and wait for the traffic to come. As you can easily imagine, this never happened. Even if you have a strong Social Media presence, you won’t probably see the traffic you daydream of receiving. The goal for both beginner bloggers and more advanced ones is always organic traffic, which is free blog traffic.
But receiving organic traffic takes actually much more. Sure, you can spend thousands of euros/dollars to bring paid traffic to your blog. But this requests budget on a constant basis, and lots of beginner bloggers can’t afford that. In fact, most beginner bloggers are not willing to spend money on ads -and that’s understandable. And to be honest, it’s better to spend your money on other stuff (ex. software) instead of paying for ads.
By writing this ebook, I wanted to help new bloggers and more advanced ones optimize their workflow. Moreover, I wanted to share my blogging strategy after publishing a new blog post. The steps I describe in the ebook are easy to take, and you don’t need any advanced blogging skills. The five things you’ll read in the ebook are the exact five things I do after publishing a new post. I do these five things every single time, and nowadays, it feels like a ritual to me.
Search engines love blog content. Don’t let them down. Follow that workflow, be patient, and see your blog thrive.
A few facts about the ebook
- The ebook is 14-pages long (pure text, without counting the cover, copyright notice, etc.).
- As it’s always the case with my ebooks, I preferred a PDF file instead of an epub. The reason is that I don’t want you to download extra apps for reading it.
- This ebook is also part of a bundle. You can buy it together with the 5 things to do before publishing a blog post and save 12%. You can see the bundle here.
- I worked on this ebook for approximately one month.
- In 5 things to do after publishing a blog post, you’ll also find a few links to selected articles on my website. Most of them deal with blogging, and you can use them as extra resources.
- 5 things to do after publishing a blog post costs 3,99 euros. After purchasing it, you can download it immediately.
- You can read the ebook on any device: desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone. However, keep in mind that it’s better to use the landscape mode for reading it on your smartphone. While the portrait mode will work just fine, the truth is that you might have to zoom in sometimes. Reading should be a pleasant experience, though: go for the landscape mode.
- Due to the nature of digital products, the ebook is non-refundable, and all sales are final.
After finishing 5 things to do after publishing a blog post
I’ve been following the same workflow after publishing a blog post for years. Even though things in the online world tend to change frequently, the steps described in the ebook seem to remain intact. In fact, they remain relevant and essential for any beginner or advanced blogger out there. Whenever I hit the Publish button, I always do the same things -and they never disappointed me so far.
However, no one can guarantee that something that works today will also work in a year or two. Therefore, even though I don’t think that the steps on the ebook will ever lose their relevancy, I want to offer something extra.
