5 things to do before publishing a blog post: an ebook

The 5 things to do before publishing a blog post is an ebook about my recommended blogging workflow.

Whenever I decide to write a new blog post, there are always a few steps that I need to follow to ensure that my article will be written in the best possible way. But what does this really mean?

We tend to think that quality content always shines. Indeed, Content is king, as people say. But this is usually not enough. You don’t only have to write a great blog post; you also have to write one that people can discover online. No matter how good an article is, if no one can find it and read it, it is an article that goes unnoticed. And you don’t want that, especially if you are a beginner blogger.

You see, most people stop blogging not because they don’t like it anymore. They actually quit blogging because their blogs receive no traffic. Even if they write high-quality blog posts, it will translate to little or no traffic if people can’t find them online. And as we all know, it’s tough to earn some money from your writing if you don’t have readers.

Therefore, in the 5 things to do before publishing a blog post ebook, I wanted to focus on the essential steps that every beginner blogger should take before hitting the Publish button. Of course, if you blog for quite some time and don’t see the traffic you deserve, this ebook will also help you optimize your workflow and prepare your posts for blogging success.

This ebook doesn’t contain an exhaustive list of the best SEO techniques or loads of WordPress plugins. Instead, I preferred to focus on what every blogger should have in mind before writing a new blog post. By keeping all these things in mind, you will have an optimal workflow for optimizing your blog posts for the search engines.

I tried to explain as thoroughly as possible the five steps. The goal is to learn how you should approach and structure your blog posts in order to receive some proper organic traffic. As you already know, organic traffic is free traffic, and for most beginner bloggers, that’s the best way to see their blogs grow. Sure, you can spend money on Social media ads; however, it’s better to save your money if you can’t do it constantly. You see, the moment you stop paying for ads, your traffic will decrease.

It’s better to focus on optimizing your blog posts instead. For every new blog post that I write, I follow the procedure that I share in the ebook. This helped me rank for hundreds of keywords in the search engines and occupy even the first position on some really competitive keywords.

Content is king, indeed. However, if you don’t optimize your blog posts for the search engines, you can’t really hope for some serious organic traffic. Apart from specific examples, the ebook contains essential tips you need to know about your images, your meta description, and a few links to recommended free plugins.

Last but not least, for every piece of content I want to update, I also follow these steps. Sometimes, whenever you revisit a piece of old content you want to update or repurpose, you’ll notice that you didn’t apply some of this ebook’s blogging tips. By applying them at a later stage, you also make sure that you’ll get a boost in the SERPs when a search engine recrawls your site.

If you follow my recommended workflow, you will prepare your blog for success, and you’ll make your life easier. The same steps helped me grow my blog. As a beginner blogger, I made tons of mistakes as well. I also used to create content and shoot nice images, yet I didn’t receive any traffic. I had to mix things up, I had to study a lot, and then I had to implement everything I learned. And I saw results -I still do.

I’m confident that this ebook is a great shortcut: it will give you the experience of years of blogging without going through the mistakes a beginner blogger makes. Make this workflow a ritual, and start growing your blog today.

A few facts about the ebook

  • The ebook is 17-pages long (pure text, without counting the cover, copyright notice, etc.).
  • As it’s always the case with my ebooks, I preferred a PDF file instead of an epub. The reason is that I don’t want you to download extra apps for reading it.
  • This ebook is also part of a bundle. You can buy it together with the 5 things to do after publishing a blog post and save 12%. You can see the bundle here.
  • I worked on this ebook for approximately one month.
  • In 5 things to do before publishing a blog post, you’ll also find a few links to selected articles on my website. Most of them deal with blogging, and you can use them as extra resources.
  • 5 things to do before publishing a blog post costs 3,99 euros. After purchasing it, you can download it immediately.
  • You can read the ebook on any device: desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone. However, keep in mind that it’s better to use the landscape mode for reading it on your smartphone. While the portrait mode will work just fine, the truth is that you might have to zoom in sometimes. Reading should be a pleasant experience, though: go for the landscape mode.
  • Due to the nature of digital products, the ebook is non-refundable, and all sales are final.

After finishing 5 things to do before publishing a blog post

I’ve been following the workflow described in the book for several years in a row. Even though things in the online world tend to change frequently, the things in the ebook seem to remain intact. They never lost their value, and they remain relevant and important for any beginner or advanced blogger out there.

However, no one can guarantee that something that works today will also work in a year or two. Therefore, even though I don’t think that the ebook’s workflow will lose its validity, I want to offer something extra. You have the option to subscribe to my mailing list when you purchase the ebook (there’s a dedicated field after filling in your address). This is, of course, free of charge. If you subscribe, whenever I add or remove steps from my workflow, I will inform you via e-mail. This way, you will always be up-to-date regarding future changes and new ideas.

Apart from the blogging updates, you will occasionally receive original content with links to selected articles of my blog.

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram (follow me here) for news and real-time updates.
