Writing a book about Anafi has been a long-time project of mine. I initially thought of making a photo book, but then I felt that the written words could also contribute to the atmosphere. I have also written a blog post about the book, where you can see some additional photos and find some additional info. You can read it here. The first lines were the following:
“I’ve been thinking for quite a while now to write a book about Anafi. I’m not a long-time visitor of the island, nor I have roots there. But from the very first time I visited Anafi, I felt something changing in me: it was as if the idea of a paradise here on earth got instantly reshaped. It was not only about beauty and tranquility anymore; instead, it was more about originality and uniqueness.”

- It has a matte paper on the cover and premium quality paper in the pages.
- There are several photos and also two texts: one is from 2017, the other from 2018. Both texts appear, of course, in both languages.
- The texts appear in two languages: English and Greek.
- All photos are mine. I used four cameras in two years.
