Description

The third issue of Polacosmic deals with still life. The term usually refers to a work of art presenting inanimate objects which are either natural (flowers, rocks, etc.) or man-made (glasses, vases, etc.). A still-life is always tempting for polaroid photographers because you can often get fantastic results.

However, in this issue of my polaroid zine, I decided to take a step further. While still life paintings or photos usually present objects in interiors, I thought of expanding its meaning a bit. That said, in this volume, you’ll also see objects in their natural environment. And that’s why I thought of adding a comma between the term’s words. Hence, the “Still, life” title.

At the end of the zine, you’ll also find a short index with the locations and the cameras I used.

Here you’ll find specific details about “Still, life.”

  • Together with the cover, this polaroid zine has twenty pages.
  • It’s printed on high-quality saddle-stitched US letter paper: the covers are 300 gsm, while the inside pages are 150 gsm.
  • Polacosmic #3 contains only color polaroids.
  • All copies are hand-numbered; usually, each edition consists of 20 copies. Check the current edition at the bottom of this description.
  • None of the polaroids presented in Polacosmic was altered. That said, there’s no post-processing. The only touch is a +20 in sharpness for printing optimization. Therefore, the colors, the grain, etc., remain intact. Polaroids always should look like polaroids.

  • There’s a 7-day money-back guarantee; however, if you decide to return the issue(s), you’ll have to pay the shipping costs.
  • Your Polacosmic issue(s) will dispatch within 48 hours. The zine(s) will be posted on Monday morning if you order a copy during the weekend. The day it ships, you’ll receive an e-mail.
  • According to the post office, you’ll have the zines within 5-7 business days.
